Edgebrook Covenant Church - Edgebrook Evangelical Covenant Church believes it is God’s vision that we actively engage in building a caring Christian community and intentionally share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those outside that community.

Central to the achievement of this Vision are these Core Values:

WORSHIP
To enrich the life of our Christian community and reach out to the unchurched through our worship.  Our worship is Biblically based and creatively expressed, blending the richness of our liturgical tradition with the freshness expressed in the Church today by men, women, and children.  Deuteronomy 10:20-21, Psalm 95, John 4:23-24

EDUCATION
To give priority to knowing and applying the Scriptures to all areas of our lives, through all stages of our lives.  We desire to be a community shaped by the Word of God, for we will either be shaped by God’s Word or by the world.  Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Romans 115:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17

RELATIONSHIPS
To build and encourage significant and diverse personal relationships, with ministries that serve a companionship of fellow strugglers, including our caring for those currently within our church community and nurturing those God brings our way as we walk in faith together.

EVANGELISM
To be intentional about evangelism by being an inviting and welcoming church and by encouraging and training our members to demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ in both speech and action.  Deuteronomy 10:17-19, Matthew 9:37-38, 2 Timothy 4:1-2

STEWARDSHIP AND MISSION
To actively engage in sacrificial whole life stewardship enabling local and worl mission.  This includes avenues for social justice, church planting, foreign missions and any other means for sharing Christ’s love as God leads.  Isaiah 42:6-7, Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 15:20-21
